It has about 4,331 shops in 14 nations worldwide. The business functions mainly happening in the U.S, Europe and Asia. It is headquartered situated in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom (Peterson 2013). Morrisons is the fourth largest supermarkets in the United Kingdom and was found by William Morrison in 1899. Their business is mainly food and grocery, specifically they source and process most of the fresh food that they sell through the own manufacturing service.Morrison's mission statement is to provide all their customers with the very best value for money on their weekly shopping, wherever they live. The vision of Morrison is to be the 'Food Specialist for everyone'. As a food specialist it differentiates itself from the major competitors by having its own packing and manufacturing f acilities (Lane 2004).Considering the Chinas external environment there are lot of positive factors that will help the Morrisons to develop the business successfully in China.
